On 15 April 2022 Florian Hassler, State Secretary for Political Coordination and Europe at the Ministry of State Baden Württemberg and Muhterem Aras, Member of the State Parliament for the Stuttgart I constituency and President of the State Parliament, visited Müze Süd. Hassler presented Andrea Laux and Ingrid Bregenzer, German board members of the Mother Centers International Network for Empowerment MINE e.V., with a grant of 100,000 euros to support the mother centres in the countries bordering Ukraine. “I am impressed by the remarkable speed with which the mother centres became active just a few days after the start of the war, activated their networks in the Danube region and gave shelter to fleeing mothers with children. That is why the Ministry of State is very happy to support the International Mothers’ Centre Network MINE e.V. as part of its Danube Region Strategy,” Hassler said. Especially in difficult times, the long-standing and trusting contacts and cooperation have proven their worth.
In order to be able to raise the own contribution for the support programme and to be able to support mother’s centres in other countries, mine e.V. needs donations. One hundred percent of these donations go to the maternity centres, which offer refugee families long-term security, care and help to help themselves.
